Course Overview

     The AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course is designed for pediatricians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, emergency physicians, and other healthcare providers who care for infants and children. The PALS Provider Course teaches participants:

• To recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest.
• Strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children.
• Skills needed to resuscitation and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock, or cardiopulmonary arrest. 

Course Length

     Approximately 6-8 hours.

Requirements

1. Participants are required to have a current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider Manual (2020 CPR & ECG Guidelines). Ebook is included in the cost of the course.
2. Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) Required: Students must complete the Precourse Self Assessment (PSA) prior to class. A score of 70% or higher is necessary to pass. Students must print and bring Score Repoort and Certification of Completion to class.
