Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) - $190

Course Overview

     The AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course is intended for healthcare workers who direct or participate during the resuscitation of a patient. The course emphasizes the importance of good CPR to patient survival, the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions, and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.

  • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
  • Airway Management
  • ACLS Pharmacology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) review
  • Management of acute coronary syndromes and stroke
  • How to be both a leader and a team member in a resuscitation team

Course Length

     Approximately 6-8 hours.

Requirements

  1. Participants are required to have a current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support Manual (2020 CPR & ECG Guidelines).
  2. Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) Required: Students must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) prior to class. A score of 70% or higher is necessary to pass. Students must print and bring a Score Report and Certification of Completion to class. 

Course Fee Includes:

  • Manikin replacement lungs.
  • CPR barrier one-way valve.
  • AHA PALS eCard fee.
  • Teaching / Testing Fee.

Certification:

     2-Year American Heart Association PALS Provider Card

Basic Life Support (BLS) Course - $79

Course Overview:

The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.

Course Content:

  • High-Quality CPR for Adults, Children, and Infants: Learn the latest techniques and best practices for performing high-quality chest compressions, delivering effective ventilations, and using an AED.
  • Team Dynamics and Communication: Understand the importance of effective team dynamics and communication during resuscitation scenarios.
  • Airway Management: Master the skills to maintain a patient’s airway and ensure adequate ventilation.
  • Relief of Foreign-Body Airway Obstruction: Learn how to recognize and manage choking emergencies in adults, children, and infants.
  • CPR with an Advanced Airway: Learn how to perform CPR in situations where an advanced airway device is in place.
  • Critical Concepts of Early Recognition and Interventions: Emphasize the significance of early recognition and intervention in cardiac and respiratory emergencies.

                  Approximately 4 Hours

Requirements:

                  Participants are required to have their own BLS Provider Manual (AHA 2020 Edition) physical book or eBook. The eBook is included in the price of the course and an eCode will be emailed to you upon registration and payment.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - $190

Course Overview

     The AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course is designed for pediatricians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, emergency physicians, and other healthcare providers who care for infants and children. The PALS Provider Course teaches participants:

  • To recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest.
  • Strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children.
  • Skills needed to resuscitation and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock, or cardiopulmonary arrest. 

Course Length

     Approximately 6-8 hours.

  1. Participants are required to have a current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider Manual (2020 CPR & ECG Guidelines). Ebook is included in the cost of the course.

Virtual Testing Only (30 min)

Virtual testing for TNCC Challenge is performed daily. Upon completion of regisration, an email will be sent to you requesting the time you would like to complete the virtual exam.
