Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) - $190

Course Overview

The AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course is intended for healthcare workers who direct or participate during the resuscitation of a patient. The course emphasizes the importance of good CPR to patient survival, the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions, and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.

Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest

Basic Life Support (BLS) review
Management of acute coronary syndromes and stroke
How to be both a leader and a team member in a resuscitation team

Requirements

Participants are required to have a current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support Manual (2020 CPR & ECG Guidelines). It is not required to be purchased through Sigma Rescue LLC, but we have ebooks available for purchase.
ACLS Pre-Course Work Required. Students must complete the Precourse work (online modules) and bring the Certification of Completion to class or email it to the instructor prior to the start of the course.
Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) Required: Students must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) prior to class. A score of 70% or higher is necessary to pass. Students must print and bring a Score Report to class or email it to the instructor prior to teh start of teh course.

First Aid CPR AED Online

The Heartsaver First Aid Online Course is designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. It offers the basics of recognizing and administering first aid for the most common life-threatening emergencies. This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an AHA course completion eCard. You will learn:

First Aid Basics
Medical Emergencies
Injury Emergencies
Environmental Emergencies
CPR – Adult, Child, Infant
Use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
Choking – Adult, Child, Infant

First Aid instructions includes bandaging, bleeding, wounds, choking, shock, seizure, fainting, broken bones, sprains, burns, bites, stings, poison, and temperature-related conditions. CPR includes Adult, Child, and Infants and AED use.

After completing the online portion, Students practice and demonstrate their skills with an AHA Instructor and receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED eCard, valid for two (2) years.

PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - $190

Course Overview

The AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course is designed for pediatricians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, emergency physicians, and other healthcare providers who care for infants and children. The PALS Provider Course teaches participants:

To recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest.
Strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children.
Skills needed to resuscitation and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock, or cardiopulmonary arrest.

TNCC Trauma Nurse Core Course - 1 Day Renewal

This is a 1-day course,6 hours in length, designed as a refresher before testing. The ENA TNCC Provider Manual (9th Edition) is required. You are not required to purchase it through us, but we recommend that you have it during the course.

You are required to complete the pre-course modules prior to the start of the course. Failure to complete the modules will result in you being dropped from the coourse.

TNCC: Trauma Nurse Core Challenge Course

The TNCC Trauma Nursing Core Course Challenger is designed for nurses who have completed TNCC multiple times. There is no education involved in the course. Once the fee has been paid, you will receive access to your ENA Online modules. Once the modules have been completed, you will contact Sigma Rescue to complete your online skills evaluation. Upon successful completion of your skills exam, you will be granted access to the ENA TNCC Online exam.
